Biometric Data

Personal data derived from physical or behavioral characteristics that can uniquely identify an individual, such as fingerprints, facial geometry, voice patterns, or gait. Biometric data is treated as a special category of sensitive personal data under most privacy laws, including the GDPR, subject to stricter rules around collection, storage, and use.
