Closed Model
AI & Machine Learning
An AI model whose weights and architecture are not publicly released. Users can only interact with it through an API or product interface, and the underlying technology remains proprietary. Contrasts with open weightss, where the weights are publicly available. ChatGPT, Claude Gemini, and Grok are all closed models.
