Edge AI

The deployment of AI models directly on local devices, such as smartphones, cameras, or industrial sensors, rather than in a centralized cloud. Edge AI reduces latency, preserves privacy, and enables AI applications in environments with limited or unreliable internet connectivity. It typically requires smaller, more efficient models, often produced via distillation or quantization.
