Entity Linking

The task of connecting mentions of named entities in text, such as people, places, or organizations, to their corresponding entries in a structured knowledge base. For example, linking the word "Apple" in a sentence to the specific company entry in a database, disambiguating it from the fruit or any other use of the word.
