AI GLOSSARY
Fuzzy Logic
Miscellaneous & Conceptual
A form of logic that deals with degrees of truth rather than the binary true or false of classical logic. Where traditional logic says something is either true or false, fuzzy logic allows for values in between, such as "mostly true" or "somewhat false." It is useful for reasoning about vague or imprecise concepts and is used in control systems, consumer electronics, and decision-making applications.
