Image Classification

The task of assigning a label to an entire image based on its content, for example identifying whether a photo shows a cat, a dog, or a car. One of the most foundational tasks in computer vision, and central to early deep learning breakthroughs, including AlexNet's landmark performance on ImageNet in 2012.
