High-Risk AI System

Under the EU AI act, an AI system that poses significant risks to health, safety, or fundamental rights, including systems used in healthcare, education, employment, law enforcement, or critical infrastructure. High-risk AI systems are subject to the most stringent requirements under the Act, including mandatory conformity assessments, human oversight mechanisms, and detailed technical documentation.
