AI Auditing

The systematic examination of an AI system by an independent party to assess its performance, fairness, safety, and compliance with applicable standards or regulations. AI auditing is becoming increasingly important as regulators and organizations seek assurance that AI systems behave as intended and do not cause harm. Frameworks such as the EU AI Act and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework have made auditing a formal expectation for high-risk AI systems.
